How the Tabooze party word game handles (and mostly doesn't handle) your information.
We collect nothing. Tabooze is a local, offline party game — it does not request network access, and it has no server, backend, or account system to send information to even if it wanted to. We, the developer, never receive any data about you or your device.
To remember your setup between sessions, Tabooze saves a small amount of data in the app's private local storage on your device (Android's SharedPreferences). This never leaves your device and is never visible to us:
This is functionally identical to a game remembering your settings — it is not analytics and is not accessible to anyone but you, on your own device.
Tabooze requests exactly one Android permission:
| Permission | Why |
|---|---|
VIBRATE |
Buzzes the device for turn transitions and timer alerts during gameplay. Does not access any personal data. |
Tabooze does not request internet, storage, contacts, location, microphone, camera, or any other permission.
Tabooze contains no advertising SDKs, no analytics SDKs, and no third-party libraries that collect or transmit data. Nothing is sold, shared, or disclosed to any third party, because nothing ever leaves your device in the first place.
Since Tabooze collects no personal information from any user, it collects none from children either. The app is suitable for a general audience.
All data Tabooze stores lives in the app's private storage on your device. You can erase it at any time by:
